SR- Kmart and Barnes and Noble sign ups

Anyone do these ones for $6 lately? I see it automatically signs you up for Savings Smart, and some people had troubles canceling that a month or so ago. Let me know any experiences- I'm ready to do them later today if news is good.

These are super easy to cancel. You just cancel via phone. You don't even have to talk to a live person! I always get the cancel confirm email a few minutes after I cancel

Oh, they seem to credit pretty quickly as well

Yes you have to call the saving smart number to cancel saving smart as well as the number to cancel the other offer.

The only problems I had canceling saving smart was that I never rec'd a member number so I couldn't punch it in to the automated number and my phone number wasn't bringing up my number. I emailed them though since there's no phone number that's not automated and they canceled it for me and I haven't had any additional charges.

OK, I just did it and got a message that it couldn't process my order. (for both of them!)

I remember doing this with an offer ( same sort of deal) back in January or so and I got the same response. But then they still sent me a welcome email and charged my card the $1. BUT, Tricia never got the credit from them, and I still have a trouble ticket out on it. I'm going to be ticked if the same thing happens- they still charge my card, but don't give SR the credit for it.

Oh great.......I just saw my 'welcome to the club' emails from both. I will be SO MAD if they don't credit SR for me, AGAIN. Then I will have $18 in credits 'lost'. I don't get it. Tricia, if you read this, can you please keep an eye out for me? I don't understand why I get the 'cannot process' blurb after I input my credit card, but then I get the 'welcome to the club' email an hour or so later. And then last time they never gave you the credit, even though my credit card was charged that $1 fee.

YEAY! Got my $12 in credits today. thanks Tricia. Still don't know what happened to that one a few months ago, but I'm extremely pleased that this one worked out.
