Seems every time I click on an offer, it offers me another zillion offers underneath and won't let me continue on to the next page unless I accept one of those extra offers. How far do I have to go w/this to get my rewards? I really just want to enter a chance to win free starbucks coffee and not all of the other crapola after the original offer. Do I really have to complete all of those other free offer pages?

Sometimes the offer you are trying to complete only needs your email address. Most of the ones I comlete have a small "no thanks" at the top of the other free offers or at the bottom has a SKIP button. If I have to do a big offer - other than to sign up for a free newsletter or something like that, I just exit out and hope that giving my email address will do the trick. Sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't. Hope this helps a little! It can be frustrating.

Thansk! I'll look closer for a "skip" or "no thanks" :thumbsup2

One more question....do I have to go back and validate all of these subscriptions?

Ugh, I hate those darn things:sad2: Honestly I don't even do them anymore they take up so much time and end up going nowhere.

yeah, I'm beginning to see that. I'm giving up. I can go to my job for an hour and make way more money in the same amount of time. :rotfl2:

I wondered the same thing. I've done a fair share and hate navigating the eleventy billion "offers". Plus despite the fact that I put no on every single one, I have gotten over 6000 pieces of junk mail in one month alone!! :scared1:

Anyway, I've always gone all the way through the "offers" for fear I won't get the credit. If I can skip that stuff, I'd be all over it. If someone knows for certain if that's possible, please let us know.

I just checked the addy I use for Treasure Trooper where I have signed up for a lot of these "enter your email" type of offers. . . I hadn't checked in about 2 weeks. . my spam box was at over 28,000!
:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

THAT is why you never use your real email address.

OP, I usually just click no thanks or skip. There are a couple that won't let you past the first page unless you choose one so I always look to see if there is a newsletter on there. A lot of times there are, if not and it's something where all the options are for things like loans, online universities, and these types of offers where they're going to call, email, and mail, I'll just skip the offer. . .not worth it.

OH - and when you do the offers that have pages and pages of questions about your interests. . . only answer the ones with the red star by them. I can usually skip half the questions (sometimes more!) by only answering the starred, required ones.

I always choose the Betty Crocker one lol I never have received anything from them either :)

There is usually a pretty good correlation between how much you get paid for an offer and how far you have to go. I would never go further than the first page for less than about .30 or .40. To give out an actual address, I would expect the payout to be at least .50. To go through a whole "survey" that is multiple pages, I would expect the offer to be paying out at least a dollar or more.

I always go to the final page on these offers. Once you do them alot you know where the skip/no thanks button is going to be I go through them pretty quickly! They never take me that long.

I agree. I've done so many I know about how much I have to click and where to find the buttons to say no or skip. I figure a free 30 or 40 cents is better than nothing or dealing with the hassles of the cc offers lately so I just click. It usually takes 1 or 2 mins tops to get through them.

But if the OP actually wants to participate in the, for example, starbucks coffee giveaway (or giftcard?), then doesn't she (I assume) have to, well, participate? Most of those survey-looking things that offer big giftcards, and I'm not talking about what is offered by SR or QR etc, say that you have to DO x number of offers...so to really join in the big payout, you do have to go further, don't you?

Oh definitely...and you know back about 1.5 years ago I did one, it was to get like a $50 GC, I filled out everything that I needed to, joined the things I needed to and NEVER got that $50 GC!!

Yep. And it is kind of hard to say where to stop because each one seems to be different. You have to read each page very carefully. A lot of times it will say in small-ish print at the top "You have now been entered to win the XYZ prize. Here are some more great offers for you." or something like that. Then in bigger print it looks like the survey continues. Just be sure to read each page VERY carefully before you give more information than what you have to.

Yes, I've started noticing that fine print where it'll say something like that. That's where I've been stopping.
