I ordered 2 tee shirts from funk unlimited and 5 hours later over $1000 worth of charges were made on my American Express card from 1800 flowers qvc and hot topic, I just went though the process of getting Another card, and I looked at the most recent charges, and should have seen that on their website there is no Lock at the bottom of the page (a Lock means it is a secure site) I filed a complaint with Amex and I am making a report with the Police. All charges were made via computer and the Police can trace the computers ip address to find out where it came from. I am a retired Officer, so I am making sure this crap doesn't happen to anyone else

Hearing that it is happening so much with Funk Unlimited (which we do NOT have on SR anymore), I am wondering if it is the Funk Unlimited company itself or the fact that they are not securing their site and someone has figured out how to watch the transactions go through? For example, someone sees the problem with Funk and offers to help drum up business for them. The work with advertisers to direct traffic to Funk and set a cookie on your computer as you click through the link. Then they grab the information back without Funk even knowing it.

The reason that I ask is that they seem to be a fairly reputable company. The fraud is likely happening with the CPA network (whoever is paying all of the rewards programs to put it on their site).
