I've never been one to long for a Hawaii vacation (maybe because of all the bad luck the Brady Bunch had when they went ) but your pictures have me re-thinking all of that. They are just beautiful!


Boo!! for the non-funny-crabby-skipper. But Yay for the Train upgrade!


Now that you got these two updates out of the way....can you slow it back down again....I'm not going to be around much for awhile.....

Poor tuckered out little Parker! He was really out - missed the parade and the transfer to the stroller! Nice that Candi got to put him down and enjoy a couple of rides. I love how Disney always makes it right - yay for a new train!

Parker was out! I like that he just cuddled and did not melt down beforehand. I wished mine would have done that all the time. I think I had one of mine almost fall asleep while eating but that was funny to me.

he was bushed, it was a long trip for him and he just wanted to rest.

yesterday was the four week left mark.

Cute story about Parker climbing in Mommys arms-I miss those days. Mine are 16 and 18 now. Enjoy it!

it was fun to try and get the perfect sunset picture....on the way home from the trip i found a sunset setting on the camera that takes them in more of a reds and yellows picture...will have to try that out for next time.

thanks, it was a sweet moment, he couldnt get small enough on her in the restraunt, then when he got outside, he just let himself all spread out.

im glad we talked her into it as well, she wanted to just keep holding him hoping he wouldnt wake up...but glad she let me tranfer him.

that was our second toy transfer to new ones this trip.

last park day is always sad, but we were happy we still had one more disney day left.

well i prob. wont be able to finish it by then, as i still have about 10 more chapters to go...we have our last full day there, travel home and final thoughts.

Well I didnt want to write this, but you guys have all been very helpful in your prayers in the past so I am asking for some again.

Candi's grandpa is not doing well. He has been in the hospital with some complications and we have found out that through the testing on his lungs, he has cancer. When they did some additional testing we found that it has spread to his brain and to his abdomin area.

The doctor says that kemo will not help him and he already decided that he does not want to make himself sicker toward the end by going that route. They are giving him 4-6 months to live.

It s a very sad moment with the family...and the hard part is everyone is excited for the new baby to be born, but sadened by the news we are recieving.

The part that makes it hard is he has started to say things like, this will be the last time i do this or that....


It is hard to have encouraging words for family members, but one thing that I do say, is that is why you need to live every day to the fullest, and enjoy life. We (I mean candi and I already try to live that way) Have fun each day and do things that make memories and will make you smile. Because no one knows what is in store for your future.

He told candis mom that he hopes to live long enough to be able to have fun with his new granddaughter, and i keep telling candi that he will be there to hold her on christmas and be able to enjoy that family time with everyone.


So I am asking for a few things, one to be prayers that he heals enough in the hospital, (he has phenomia) and needs to get ride of that to come home. We dont want to take candi to visit him in the hospital and risk her getting sick with being so close to delivery.

And the other to have prayers that are with the family, during this time, and to keep people in positive thoughts and make more lasting memories with him, and everyone in the family.

I hope that what i typed makes sense as it sort of did in my head, but it is hard to write it out.

Dan, you've all got my prayers. We are going through something similar with my grandpa (colon cancer, and chemo wasn't working). It's sad to hear things like this
