Great Update Dan !!!I am asking ?????

Can't be any more embarassing than when Winkers added an "N" to dog !!!

thanks rose, i dont know it might be it was pretty embarasing
Great update! I love that picture of all of you at Biergarten. Parker looks so grown up in that one.
Glad that Parker has some lessons learned too -- keeping spinning buzzes away from your head.
My oldest daughter is the best in our family at People Maneuvering Skills. I used to be good, but she has eclipsed me. Being so skinny helps. That's probably what gives Candi the edge too.
And last but not least, your trip to the shower house. Oh my!

Just when you thought it was safe, along comes a bus.
So....about Olive Garden?
yeah i just went and looked at that picture again, and he does, my little man all grown up.
yep he hasnt forgotten that one, he knows how to work that thing now.
then not sure what my excuse is, im not skinny, but i worked it this trip.
it was a good lesson, and one im sure i wont forget too soon.
okay thats 2 for the olive garden story, i will share it before the next responses.
I like all the pictures of Biergarten. I'm looking forward to going there. I've heard great things about the food. I hope I like it!
Such a cute picture of Parker hugging Belle!

Nice way to end the day!
if you like german food at all, you should love it, candi is not afan of the sausage kraute type dishes, and not huge on the flavors of there beefs, so she was not too happy with it, but we all loved it.
that is one of my favorites, he did really good with all the princesses this trip, for some reason, tink not so much.
Lets see
That was hilarious that Parker threw his book and pen at her feet..love it

Glad he warmed up to her in the end.
I am with Candi. Biergarten is not my favorite either. I only like the pretzel bread. Trent hated it in there and held his ears the entire time.
Forgot all about the PMS skills, I am pretty good at that in MK

Good job almost being first
That is a riot about boxers and the bus
we just think he was hot and wanted to go, and also didnt realize she was a princess since she did not have her gown on, maybe he thought it was a random lady.
it wasnt that loud for us, we caught the end of the show, then they didnt come back until we were leaving.
i knew you would like the boxers story, right up sharkys alley.
Wonderful LONG update! So much to comment on.
I wasn't trilled with Biergarten either. It was just okay for me on the food. I did enjoy the atmosphere and entertainment.
The pictures of Parker with Belle made me tear up. So sweet!
What a great Daddy to go to such lengths for popcorn!
Kudos to you on your PMS skills.
I loved the shower run story. I'm picturing the deer in headlights looks right now.
I vote to hear the Olive Garden story.
well i knew it was going to be long, but wanted to finish the day up and alot happened at the end so glad you guys liked it.
i was glad he liked the few pieces he had, he did end up eating more on the way out of the park that night so that was good.
i was kinda stopped like i had my hand caught in the cookie jar, it felt like 5 minutes what really happened in like 5 seconds.
okay olive garden story coming up next round of responses.
here's a great website that lists all the races at disney world:
http://disneyrunning.com/
with all of them (i think) where they have either a marathon or half-marathon, they also have sort of a "family fun 5K" for people (like me) that can't hang with the marathoners! the one i'm doing is connected with the wine & dine half-marathon and is called Mickey's Halloween Family Fun Run 5K and goes through MK.
one of ray's co-workers did the half-marathon last year and he said they have a kids race for any participants' children and that his kids had a blast doing that, there were characters out there and everything. i told him seth would probably be too little in october 2011 (he'll be just over a year) and he said no, that they had little ones out there, too. as long as they could somewhat walk!
thanks dawn, that website has alot of good info, i didnt realize they had so many races, i thought it was just the one.
so does that mean that you get wine and food along the route, that would make for a good race.
that would be cool to push a stroller while doing it, we have one of those big ones oyu can pull behind a bike, as well as push, so that would work out good for the kids. walk a little then ride some.
Parker and Belle. So dang sweet.
He only ate 3 pieces of popcorn after all that searching?

Kudos to the PMS, Hubby marvels at my skills too.
You must spill the Olive Garden story... Why, oh why, were you in your boxers at OG?
yep, the things we do for the little ones.
getting out of the parks is an art form that few have mastered, glad to see you have learned the ways.
well cause going commando would have gotten me kicked out of there.
i did have shorts on, over the boxers.

story coming up.
That's my goal too! To run a 5K then a marathon at Disney
I never have eaten there either. Maybe have to put that on my list of to eats. Ps. I have a little German in me too
Good lesson Parker. In the picture you can see his little scrapped up knees from when he fell
I feel the same about my kids
Of course he did
Ok that one you have to share
Great update as always
the marathons do sound fun escpecially that they go through some parks.
i think you will really like it there.
yeah it took most of the trip for them to heal up, then he would scrap them up again.
the things we do for them...
sharing the story shortly.
thanks, have to keep the readers happy.
Hello! Just found your TR. Your family is great!! I just loved your little stories about Parker - you seem very patient with him (telling him what's going on while he is upset.) Such a good daddy to get him popcorn...even if only for 3 bites. I loved the Belle part so much that I told my DH (he doesn't DIS.) and we thought of our boys doing that. Too cute!
Looking forward to more!

thanks for joining in with us.
it seems to work good that way, otherwise they just cry till they calm down on there own...and when it is time to stop one fun thing of course they dont realize why you are stopping it.
like say playing at the park, well that is fun and they dont want to leave...but if you explain to them, that you have to leave the park to go home and get a snack or go home to play with the toys there, or whatever you are going to do, they take it better and understand. at least it seems to work with us, and you avoid the fits of why do i have to stop doing something fun
