we continue on, and see some flying elephants, after all we were in the dumbo dash, not as exciting and crowded as the toy story mania trample, but still effective and a must do in order to not wait for an hour later in the day to spin around in dumbo.

now this next picture even though it may excite a certain marv and glenn, is not of candis rear, but that of the tail on a certain horse who is cinderella...she found him quickly while parker said he wanted to ride the one next to her, she opted to not let this opportunity go to waste and hopped on the princess horse.

Nice tail. (Marv told me to say that.)

well 3 hours into the flight, the flight attendant asked me if they gave me the discount and i said no but dont worry about it, she said well ill have to do something about that....and she ended up getting me this.

It's a shame it wasn't a Bud Lite Lime, but I guess you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth. (Apparently gift horses have notoriously bad breath.)

when we landed and were taxing to the runway, i got a text from marv asking if we arrived, and some back and forth banter about getting lied when got off the plan occured, im sure you can figure out who started that one.

I honestly did not get this one until I saw Marv's reply. I read l-i-e-d was "lied". I should have known better.

"WHAT IF" i were to get home late one night and the sun had set, i bet i could sit out there rump roast necked and no one would see me...why yes yes that could be possible. as long as your chair was pulled back under the over hang.

here is the first panoramic shot that i took...i was still learning so i didnt get the lighting right all the way through it, but it turned out pretty good.

all you do is hit the button and move the camera and it stitches them together for you automatically.

to clear up something, we didnt really leave my dad to pay the bill when we left CP as we were on the dinning plan, so we just left him to sign his name to take off the credits on all of meals and then he caught up to us.

So who paid for the DDP up front??? Just askin'......

once inside with luggage dropped off we made our way to the gate...to sit and relax. parker got out his camera and stepped right into his dads footsteps to take some pictures of the planes.

I'm betting you didn't post any of Parker's pics because they put yours to shame.......

but i saw something the day before that i had to try when we landed.

it was a smokey mountain brat.

i forget the name of the store but it was awesome they had many different flavors of brats...mine was perfect right amount of seasoning and heat...and went great with the saure kraut.

in our rental, someone zonked out, which was fine we took our time it was about a 30 minute drive to the resort so we were glad he was getting some rest.

They all look like angels when they sleep, don't they!!!

We pulled into the concierge parking area, and were helped with our luggage with i gladly accepted the offer of a bell man to take the bags up...afterall this is our luggage we brought with us.

That lady with the baby bump just don't look very excited!!!

...so when mister bell man offered to take our stuff i almost hugged him and gave him a kiss.

because besides our stuff we also had about 6 paper bags from the grocery store not to mention some adult beverages that since candi could not drink i felt the need to drink her half as well.

now if you have a corner room, you get 3 doors, one from the living room, one from the side of the bed, and one from the foot of the bed like this.

so what is our view on this garden view...well out the one side and looking toward the mountain area, i see gardens.

looking toward the other way, i see ocean...granted it is not ocean front but it is still ocean view...this was the other direction.
nice view of the pool and hte water.

Whoa Dan! I am getting dizzy from following you to last year and back to last month! First, I love Parker with the characters - what a sweetie - I loved the one of him looking at the castle over the little fence.

2nd, He looks so grown up all of a sudden - not a baby anymore.

I'm glad you liked PDX - I love it too - especially when I'm flying OUT! I'm sorry it was too far for me to come - it would have been fun to meet you and your family.

Candi's Baby Bump is very cute! She looks like she is ready for a serious nap by the time to reach Hawaii.

and she only had to push 2 kids over to get the horse, not bad if you ask me.

thanks, the sandwich was awesome i have been wanting a brat now that i have typed about it, but we will see how that goes...busy this weekend, so not sure.

marv is not marv unless he can cause trouble.

its like putting him in a room with a red button and telling not to push it, less than 5 minutes he would be pushing it.

thanks, it was a great resort and we loved the location and room.

i was pretty happy for that dash as well, i think we faired well that morning.

well i almost said a bloody mary, but since i had my own supply of vodka and they give you free bloody mary mix, i already was sitting pretty on those from the first 3 hours of the flight.
the bottles were about that size, so not really a full serving, so i cant count those 3 plus the beer and the free mai tai as a full 5 drinks? can i?
