i see...nope we just stayed on maui the whole trip, so the one you stayed at wasnt in any of my pictures.

did you stay on the one island your whole trip?

isnt waikiki the one that has the huge 30 foot waves for the surfing competitions.

LOL I must've missed that you were on Maui. Guess all the hawaii beaches are just as pretty as the next! (look about the same)

yes, on the north side of the island. We drove up there one day, and watched the surfers. There was no way I was getting in that water though. LOL

very true, alot of the hotel areas even look the same.

i saw some areas that were so crazy with waves or people surfing with no beach area, that it looked dangerous to surf that, but i wouldnt have a problem with it as i never was able to stand up on the board.

yeah Candi got to ride Cinderella's horse. I tried to get my DD5 on her horse but she was not having it. She wanted another one and didn't care that it was Cinderella's horse.

Hawaii pictures look great so far! Can't wait to see more.

Well i Know some of you have asked about where the updates are lately....so i will explaine....i say this in advance, please dont feel bad about asking where they were...i didnt say what i was up to so you had no idea, what i was doing.

well last week, starting wed night, through friday candi had a garage sale at home...so that took up alot of time setting up for that and helping her out as much as i could while working.


on saturday was also my grandpas memorial service (the one who passed away a few months ago)

well, it was my church, so was sort of the unofficial in charge person for the family to get things together for it. i also put together the memorial video...which everyone loved, and commented on how great it was...i also designed a program for the event, that people thought we had paid someone to do for us. so i did have a plan to get an update in last week, but that took up more time that i thought it would...

afterwards i had family and friends say i should go into that as a side business.



the service was very nice, and it was good to have that sid eof the family together as we dont get together that often.

there were some great stories and memories shared.

so that took up most of my saturday and yesteday we had a fun family day....we hung out in the morning before church, watched cars 1 went to church, had lunch then took parker to see cars 2.

there was alot of mixed reviews about it, but i thought it was good...i wont give anything away, but we all enjoyed it.

it was a good story we thought and we enjoyed matter being a bigger part of this one.

but it was a success as we sold a very good amount and made some good money.

i think people thought there would be alot more focus on the racing part, and suprised the direction that it actually was...but we really enjoyed it.

thanks glenn, it was very nice, were i thought i wouldnt cry i did, it was the simplest story i was telling and it took me out for a few minutes to composs myself....but it was nice more family came up to help me out and they ended up sharing so it was nice.

We took our "little one", well, our medium one (aged 20 ), to see Cars 2 Saturday evening. Danny said it wasn't as good as the first, Ryne & Mark both liked it (Mark went to it the night before) and I thought it was different than the first - not better or worse - just went in a different direction. I think Danny read that Pixar was now 12 for 12 for their movies opening in 1st place.

Being a bigger Toy Story fan than a Cars fan, I liked the opening cartoon a lot too!
