I am currently being terrorized. It won't leave and I don't know what it wants..I shook a snow shovel at it, and it doesn't move.

If it were trying to hand me literature or something, I'd take it. I just want to to go.....

Any suggestions to rid myself of this horrible creature, darkening my doorstep???

Ok. It is kinda funny, but I am a little freaked out by this thing. It's been in the same place for an hour, bot moving, just looking at me with those beady soulless eyes (black eye, like a doll's eyes....) *shiver*

AWW..

I would get peanuts and shoot them down the front path.

maybe its stuffed and someone put it there as a joke :confused3

I don't think so. I noticed it because it threw an old dove's eggshell off the ledge from an old nest up there. And, the eyeball was moving.... :magnify:

Aw, he is sooooooooooooooooo cute! I bet he would LOOOOOOOOOOOVE to be snuggled.

[Good luck in getting him away from your door. The only advice I have is shoot at him with a water gun?]

Those guys can freeze in place for a long, long time! I have a few that come around to eat my flowers and if I let the dog out in the yard, they become instant statues! The dog never even notices them! I would just throw some peanuts or something in the front yard and he will eventually come down when he thinks it is safe to move....

Wave a slice of bread close enough that it can smell it then put the bread where it can see it. My squirrels LOVE bread.

I don't want it sticking around! We've got enough of the noisy buggers in the attic as it is.

And, yes, it's still there. It was there before I went to take a shower at 1 pm central time.

Don't have a water gun. How do y'all feel about hitting with an airsoft pellet?

Nooooooooo...those things really hurt!! Maybe he lives in your attic and just came out for some fresh air. Yikes!!:scared1:

No water gun? Try a hose, then. Must be humane and all that.

I had one in the house one day. Yeah that was exciting. Luckily it was only for a few seconds before the dog chased it out!

No idea what to do to get it down. Whatever you do though, don't stand too close to it. Lord only knows what it will do when it gets ticked off enough!

Well, DS 13 came home and saved me. Apparently he's more threatening with the snow shovel than I am. The squirrel ran up the side of condo and yelled at us a bunch of times.

I hope my neighbor hadn't put poison in her attic and he was suffering. He did seem like he wasn't happy at all, unlike his furry cousins who merrily raid our bird feeder.

But, he's gone and I'm afraid squirrel watch is over before it had a chance to start.

A water gun and if that doesn't work, maybe a slingshot or pellet gun.

Oh, I think I may have made a mistake...

I told my Dh about this.

Now, not only am I one who even squirrels do not fear, I am one silly enough to take pics and post them on the internet.

I have this sinking feeling all my gifts for a long time will involve squirrels. Some may even be spring loaded to jump out at me.

I love my husband. ;) :lmao:

Poor baby looked terrified. I'm glad he has moved on and hopefully he's okay.
