Squaw Valley/Tahoe Ski Resort Area Ski Season Starts When?

Does anyone know when Squaw Valley or the regional ski resorts there will start their ski season this year?

It looked like last year the season opened "early" on Nov. 16th. Anyone familiar with how early they announce the season dates? I did a quick search on the Squaw website and saw nothing. Thanks!

I feel like they don't say officially - I think they try to be open by Thanksgiving, but it depends on snow and snowmaking conditions. 2 years ago we went for Xmas and many small resorts not open yet, and even big giants were like 10% open. So it really depends on weather.

No official start date. It depends on the weather. Sometimes it is early as November, usually later in November.
