Square Footage Size of Rooms

I've noticed that there is a difference in the room size of a Cat. 8/9 vs. a Cat. 5/6. The diagrams look about the same. Are they including the verandah in the sq. ft. of the rooms, or are these rooms actually different sizes?

The Passporter tells you, but I have now given mine away to a friend. However, it is the common practice with other cruise lines to include the verandah in the SF.

Cat 11 & 12 are 184 sq. ft.
Cat 8, 9 & 10 are 214 sq. ft.
Cat 5, 6 & 7 are 268 sq. ft.
Cat 4 is 304 sq. ft.
Cat 3 is 614 sq. ft.
Cat 2 is 945 sq. ft.

The square footage does include the verandah.

Yes, the 5,6,7,8,9,and 10 category rooms itself is the same exact size stateroom(living area). What makes the difference of these categories are inside, porthole and vernadah. That is what you are really paying for in difference in price.

Depending which category you wanted but
again, 8 9 and 10 are the same as 5,6, and 7.

Living space is 214 Sq ft for 5,6,7,8,9,and 10. The difference bewteeen living space and vernadah is 268-214= 54 sq ft.
The vernadah is 54 sq ft.

I thought I saw a thread somewhere that said that a 7 day, Cat. 1 stay was $10,000 ++ depending on the week.

Cat 4 is 304 sq ft including the balcony...cat 4 is same set up as cat 5 and 6 but has an extra 4 foot longer for the murphy bed so it sleeps 5 people.
