Does anyone know the square footage of the new treehouses?

We are planning a trip with another family for next January and trying to decide between a treehouse or a Grand Villa.

I have looked, but can't find it.

Thanks.

I don't know the square footage, but I do know they only sleep 9 and none of those beds are king sized. Two queens, one queen sleeper, one twin sleeper chair and a set of bunk beds.

I am also wondering about the sq. footage. I am hoping it will be at least a bit bigger than a 2bdrm.

I think I remember reading somewhere that they will be around 1000 sq. feet. I'll see if I can find it to confirm.

Thanks for the link.

I guess 1236 is doable. I would prefer a GV, but my points bank would prefer a THV.

Excluding walls and the little nooks and crannies that are not usable space, the treehouses will be between 1000-1100 sq ft. That does not include the large outside porch--don't know if Disney counts the porches in their other measurements or not.

Despite the fact that the treehouses have 3 bedrooms, they are outfitted comparably to Two Bedroom villas and will be similar in size. The kitchen/living area is quite large (think OKW) but there is no foyer/entry.

The second and third bedrooms will not be very big. Those two bedrooms will be nicely-appointed, but are smaller than 12x12. You could fit those two bedrooms plus the smaller bathroom into about the same room footprint as a DVC Studio.

In your opinion, will we be able to fit a blow-up mattress on the floor of the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms?

We will be within occupancy limits, but we prefer to not have to have anyone sleeping in the living room. Thus, we thought we would use a couple of our blow-up mattresses.

Assuming the floorplans are to scale, there's no chance of it fitting in the bedroom with a queen bed. There appears to be only about 2' of clearance on either side of the bed. The other bedroom is a "maybe." I'd say there is at least 3' of space in that room. Guess it depends on the exact dimensions of the bed and how much room you need to keep people from stepping on one another.
