Well, lots of stressfull family situations going on at home, so what better way to escape than 3 days at WDW!! We are staying at POP and unfortunately missed the codes by 2 days- paying rack rate but that's OK- We did get a preferred location, but I am reading that the 60's building is far from a parking lot. We will be driving to the parks, as we have our 9 month old "souviner" going (yes- he really was a disney souviner from our July 2002 trip) To me it's easier to cart things in the car. Can someone let me know if the parking lots are far from the 60's building? I'm going to check out the map of the resort, but I wanted opinions, too.

Tyler's Pop Century FAQ thread has links to aerial photo's of the Pop century Resort. 60's looks like it is farthest from parking lots, closest to check in, food court, etc. (the place called "Everything Pop). But All the other decades look like they have 1 bldg pretty close and 1 bldg farther away from parking lots. Water views are farther from lots.

The 60's buildings are not far from the parking lots. However, they are not right up next to them either. They're in the middle, immersed in the resort, and very close to the food court and bus stops. Just a few extra steps to the parking lot.

Thanks for the responses!! I'm just going to stick with the ressies. I'm sure the walk isn't that much of a difference from buildings to parking lots!!
