Springbreak or Easter Week crowds

Which, in your opinion, are worse? We have been Springbreak and it was not that bad. I wondered if Easter is worse.

Easter this past year was the earliest it can be and it unfortunately fell on our break....It was by far the crowdest I've ever seen the parks...

Easter break is nuts. Fortunetly, when we went we had a 1 bedroom villa at OKW. So it didn't bother us to stay in the room and relax. It surprised me that my DS11 was willing to do so!!

Sadly, our spring break always IS Easter Week. Bummer.

We did spring break which fell during easter week for our 3 ds two years ago and will do it again this coming up year 06. I did read on the boards that it was busy, but really I am glad I was well prepared, I made all the dining reservations before we left. That was really important. All week long they said no walk ups at the popular places etc. It was good to have a decent meal without waiting on a long counter service line etc. The counter service lines were horrendous, from 11-3 it was nonstop. The buses were standing room only alot of places you went. There were actual lines to get a fastpass and the fastpass had return times like 6 hours later, this was not good if you wanted to park hop later on etc. My ds did not want to get up early so we usually spent later times at the parks etc. The weather was so much more bearable than in the hot summer, august, which we used to go to. I am glad we also brought alot of snacks into the parks because I just couldnt see waiting in a 20 people line for a turkey leg etc. On easter day we spent most of it at epcot and then headed to mgm for dinner. There was a big storm later so we went back to the room at the swan, but I think epcot was really uncrowded early in the morning., we were avoiding the mk at all costs on easter day, we did it earlier in the week etc. If you plan well you will have a good time.

I'm a little curious about this as well. I know next year Easter is really late (end of April). I have planned a trip for the end of March thinking it shouldn't be too bad. Then I read the Unofficial Guides crowd indicator for days and our week is given a 10! The only other week that gets a 10 is the week btwn Xmas and New Years.

Please tell me it isn't that crowded at that time and everyone will be going over the Easter week instead.
