Hi All

Does anyone know where i could find the dates for the 2006 Atlanta Braves Members Spring Training Event at WWS??

Thinking about taking dh for his bday, but the 60 day window for annual pass room discounts is closing fast for March dates.

Spring training dares this year are different from the dates in the past due to the baseball world games that are being played. I'm not 100% sure of the actual dates of spring training games.

I would call the wide world of sports directly and ask them if they know what the schedule is and or call Member Services. Historically the spring training games for all the teams aren't set till the middle of January.

I checked the Disney World Sports Website and they do have the 2006 game schedules but the dates i am looking for are for a special event.

Last years it was either DVC Members or Annual Pass Holders who were invited to purchase tickets to a game, it included box seats and food.

Now, I know what you're looking for that did not come out till way later, mid February or so. I know I was kind of ticked off, unless you had plans to be there ahead of time there was no way anyone not in driving distance could have made it.

I hope you get to go, I heard it was a great event.

Now i'm kindof ticked off- if they wait that long to advertise this event then you can't take advantage of the annual pass room discounts, bummer, and rooms are expensive in March, even at area nondisney resorts.

Now what, pick a weekend that has a few games with the annual pass room discount and hope i choose wisely, wait for the dates then try to get a room or just scrap the whole idea and go skiing at Sunday River??

Someone else on the boards posted about trying to find out if there would be a member day/night again this year. They got a pretty non-commital answer that seemed like it may not happen. The World Baseball planning delayed the Braves setting their schedule. I wouldn't wait for a DVC event to make plans.

If you're open to staying at any resort, you might want to see what game(s) you can get tickets to and then worry about the room later. I think if you check on Ticketmaster or www.atlantabraves.com they are offering some mini-packages of multiple games.
