Spring Break vs. Summer

What is the lesser of the 2 evils? My friend and I are looking to take our daughters on a girls trip. Our SB is Mar.13-18. Or would we be better off waiting until summer. Both price and crowd wise.

I don't think that most S CA spring breaks start until the next week, so crowd-wise, that should be a good week. The only drawback is that March is still the rainy season and you might get rain (and in S CA it rains and rains, often for days on end).
