Spring Break vs Summer Vacation Poll

We are planning a trip to Disneyland/DCA mid-to-late May. I'm used to the school year ending about 1 week into June, but I've heard of some schools in other parts of the country whose year ends in May.

So, I'm using this poll to see which week your school's summer vacation begins to determine whether crowd levels might be affected. Please answer the poll according to when the last day of school is (for your kid's school, or schools in your area if you don't have kids).

regularly schools in southern california end anywhere between May 25-to the first week of june my school ends May 31.

Thursday, May 24 is our last day and for many of the schools in our area. We are in AZ.

One thing to keep in mind for this year.....with Carsland opening June 15th many folks may choose to hold off untill then to go.. just a thought.

I'm not sure why the title of this thread says "Spring Break vs Summer Vacation Poll". I'm sure I changed that before I posted the thread. Anyway, this poll is only about when your summer vacation begins. Sorry for the confusion.

In my area Seniors get out a week plus before the other 12 grades of school. I voted for when the majority get out.

Here in Nevada (or at least northern Nevada) colleges will get out mid May, and high schools get out somewhere around the beginning of June I believe. Not so sure about the rest of the state though.

I just saw another thread that there are grad nights three nights in a row in each of those two weeks that I am looking at. I wonder what impact those events will have on crowds.

I'm wondering about Grad Night crowd impact, too, since we're planning a mid-May trip for next year.
