I am considering a trip during the last week of March, my daughter's spring break. Is it that insane? I've never been during spring break, only summer, early December, and late April/early May.

Another option is when she gets out of school in late May, maybe the first week of June, but I'm not sure the crowds will be better then. Plus we don't really like all the heat. But we could be there longer, rooms are cheaper in summer, etc.

What do you think?

March is wonderful in terms of the weather. Not sure on crowds, but if the timing works for you, go!

We love going during the first three months of the year, since we don't care for crowds or hot weather.

I think I'm more concerned about crowds than weather, but the weather makes crowds more bearable! So I'm really wavering.:yo-yo:

We used to go in June/July and now we go on spring break. (3rd week in March). We really like going at that time. Not nearly as crowded.

We have been a couple of times for spring break. Ours is the last full week of March. When Easter falls seems to be a big factor for crowds. This year Easter was early and the crowds were unbearable. Another year that we went, Easter was in April and the crowds seemed more manageable. Maybe it was just our perception...but the wait times seemed really high for all rides, not just the popular attractions.

I guess I'm not crazy, then!

Easter is April 16 next year, so I'm hoping that will alleviate things in March. Spring breaks vary a lot around the country. It's hard to predict crowds.

In our experience, it was noticeably busier when our spring breaks fell on Easter. It also made airfare more expensive too. In my opinion, predicting crowds at Disney is an outdated concept. Now, it's always crowded at Disney.
