Spring 2010 T-SHIRTS!!!

Thanks for the information because I would not have known there was a vote going on otherwise. I voted!

When I did the fall 08 program, we were under the assumption that we couldn't use the word "disney" or use any company images due to copyright laws, so we had to make a generic shirt using disney-like words (dream, pixie dust, magic, etc). Just want to give you a heads up to check that out :thumbsup2 Not sure if Dee, the girl who made the shirts, is on the Dis or not, but she might know.

You can have "Disney" as long as it's not in the Disney font. Plus, that's people's last names. You can't sue them.

It was the same with my program in Spring 09. We contacted a couple of our recruiters and they made it very clear that we could not use any words related to Disney, College Program, WDW, or any Disney images, including Mickey heads. For our design they had CP09 on the sleeve and a very abstract picture of a castle made up of little triangles with swirls that had hidden mickeys in them. Basically, if you didn't know Disney, you would have no idea that was what the shirt was about. Disney is very careful with all of their material, so I would definitely suggest contacting a recruiter and getting your design approved.

I'm going to echo the concerns about copyright infringement. The shirt designs are lovely, but they could get the designers/printers/people involved in the process in legal trouble.

How about developing an abstract design, similar to the one suggested by GreatWiseSomewhere?
