Does anyone know of any spreadsheets that have been developed to track DVC points with. I became a new member in August, and it seems to me that it could be difficult to keep track of your points (new, banked, reserved, etc) without some type of spreadsheet.

Thanks for your assistance.

There are some so free software that is great...
Mouse Manager
DVC Planner (made by a moderator of Disboards)

I would love to see a spreadsheet though....

It's not a spreadsheet, but you can take a look at my software that's developed in Access. Check out the link in my signature.

Caskbill has some great DVC programs that are free. I can't say enough good things about his programs and service. You can find them at Caskbill.com

I wrote up a little spreadsheet with formulas, etc., to keep track of our four contracts. I send that out to my family so they can get a quick update of where we are at, if they want to book somewhere. However, for really keeping track of bookings, banking, borrowing and such, I have yet to see anything better than Caskbill's DVC Tracker. :thumbsup2 For anything under 300 points total the program is free to use, and he has a sliding payment scale for greater numbers of points. I gladly paid for my 460 points. :cool1: I'm just now waiting for him to update the program to add BLT and other enhancements -- which I believe he said to expect by the end of the year.

Any eta on the update, Caskbill?

Dave, I gave your program a spin today. I need to play with it some more, but there are some nice options and features. :thumbsup2

I have a spreadsheet I developed to keep track of my points. It has one worksheet for each contract which is then combined into a summary worksheet with a calendar type format outlining each trip. If/when I get the time I might could remove my personal information and then make it available to anyone to use. It doesn't do any points computation, I use CaskBill's program for that. Mine just keeps track of each use year and points used, banked and borrowed for each contract.

Does that software include the update for Bay Lake?
The version of my software that's currently online for download does not include BLT or THV yet. I'm shooting for a new release on January 3rd that will have them.

I wrote a very simply spreadsheet that I use, but I only have one home resort and use year.

Basically a column for date, Reservation detail like: OKW 1 bdrm 9 nights #8543254, points available, points used and total remaining.

Nothing fancy, but works for me.

Thanks to everyone for the information. The points tracking tools referenced in the threads above look great and seem to be everything I was hoping to find and more. Can't wait to start working with them.

Agreed. This is very cool. I enjoyed checking out your site BirdsofPreyDave. Thanks. :thumbsup2

What an awesome tool; and created with the spirit of Disney too. I couldn't believe how much you covered. GREAT JOB! Walt would be proud.
