spreadsheet for meals

Does anyone have any kind of spreadsheet they are willing to share on budgeting meals. (We're not on the dining plan) I'd love some help and not suer how to make one up on my own! THANKS!

LOL! You are my kind of planner!
I made a spreadsheet for our upcoming trip. It probably wouldn't help you much as we are on the dining plan, and mine just keeps track of how many and which kind of credits we plan on using and where. I just wanted to reply because I have never made a spreadsheet before, but after some googling was able to figure out how to do an excel one pretty easily. I think excel comes with most computers and the newer version should have something called auto sum, which will add or subtract (depending on which you select) a number of rows and columns. If I change a TS from 1 credit to 2 it automatically changes the total. I don't know if that helps at all!

I recently set up a spreadsheet in Excel to see if it would justify the dining plan. I set up one column for the date. The next column listed the park and under that the various meals for the day. The next column listed the eating location. In the next column I entered in each thing I thought we might order and in the next column I entered the amount based on the menus from allears.net which seem to be the most updated ones I've found. I then ran a total at the bottom of the amount column. For us, since we don't order dessert for lunch and will be spending a couple days outside Disney, it came out cheaper to buy our meals OOP but did come out rather close (within $200). It was quite fun imagining all the choices we might make. I even asked the kids to make their "most likely" picks. Since we're not going until April 2010 though, I told them they could change their minds! Hope this helps!
