I am in NC and have not been able to find one yet.....checked the local China Mart and several drug stores...maybe when it gets closer to summer they will be out....any one finding them other places.

We got ours at Walmart for $4-5.00. They have them in the section near paint, bathroom stuff and hardware....usually on an endcap. I think we got ours in the beg. of April.

Just got back from Walgreens, found them there for 7.99....had a couple different colors...did not pick one up yet...Have not told the kids we are going in June... even though I think they are starting to wonder why everytime they walk by, I am on a Disney site.

I prefer my MistyMate. NO fan, just a misting spray. No batteries!! Walgreen's has the small version for about 10.00. The batteries in my misting fan died once at the old Tarzan show. I will never forget how hot we were! The MistyMate cools me off more than the misting fan. Just another idea for keeping cool!!

We found ours kind of between sporting goods and hardware at Wal-Mart. They were $4.99, and they had the red an blue ones just like the ones at Disney World for $17.95. We decorated ours with Disney stickers and you can't tell the difference unless you look really close. Great when you have 3 kids that fight over one the whole time!

Great idea with the stickers! I have one of the Disney ones from our last blazing hot trip. I'll see if I can find a couple more at Walmart and sticker them up.

Funny, I found mine at Walmart in the a/c & fans section! I was looking all over for them and even asking the workers there (who, of course, were NO help, since they sent me all over the place, just not the right place) and I finally just saw them there on the shelf sticking out like a sore thumb amongst the big room fans and a/c's. Anyway, they were $4.99. The misty mates were $7.99.

I was going to recommend the mist mate too. We used them for our july trip it is small enough to fit in my pocket (it sticks out a little) and its not heavy like the spray fans are. We also brought it in aug but we did buy two fans from disney as well b/c dd wanted one and since they were buy 1 get 1 free I got two. The misty mate is so easy you fill it put is a few times (its easy enough for a kid to pump) and after that you don't have to pump it again until you add more water and it is a small button you press and sprays water. This way you don't have to worry about needing batteries and again it doesn't weigh half the amount of those fans.

No luck for me at Walmart. I'm still looking for the small ones that are a fan and a mister and are on a lanyard-type thing. (or one that clips to the belt). We have the one from DW but it's a bit big for me to carry around. Any have any information on the ones I'm looking for?

We got them at CVS. And also at Publix down in FLA (grocery store) for like $8.00.

I found them at walgreens. They were about 8.00 a piece. They are bigger than small though. I would love a small one. These are on a lanyard, but still bigger sized... I would say.

I will have to look for misty mates. That might be a better idea. I also love the sticker idea!!
