Spouse of cast member & free admission promo.

Has any spouses of cast members that have a silver pass tried to use the new free pass/fun card/FP promotion yet? If so, what were you able to get?

I registered my whole family online...my husband, the cast member received an email stating cast members were not eligible (of course)......I first received the exact same email but then about a week after that I received an email saying "We apologize for the prior electronic communication that incorrectly identified you as a Disney Cast Member and therefore ineligible to receive Free Admission on your birthday during 2009 to one of the theme parks of the Disneyland Reosrt. You are invited to celebrate and this email is confirmation of registration for the free birthday ticket. Again we apologize for the miscommunication".....

My birthday is this Thursday and we are going to go.....my question is since we will be using our Silver Pass do I have to get the free ticket or would I be able to get the Fast Pass or Fun Card instead?

Since you already have free admission privileges and a significant discount, I would be surprised if immediate family of CMs are able to qualify for this promotion. However, given the 2nd e-mail you received, I would suggest calling Disneyland directly and asking. Usually employees of a company and their immediate family are exempt from promotions, contests, giveaways, etc... due to laws that govern those type of things.
