Sports fans, how long have you been waiting?

Another Cincinnati Bengals fan here. We've had one playoff game over a decade now, and that one didn't end well.

But who knows, this could be our year!! WHO DEY!!

The Astros - often good but never quite good enough.

Nope, no Chicago exceptions, fair weather fans flock to their city when Jordan was there. I can see New York however, but Rangers and Islanders have their backs.

Did the Bengals sell out their last home game? Last I read they had not... First place in the division and it isnt August & you cant sell out a home game - :sad2:

Nobody cares about hockey or basketball. Im a Miami fan so we are pretty fortunate.

Cubs fan here. I've been waiting all my life. I've even had season tickets since 1988 and was at the infamous "Steve Bartman Game 6" against the Marlins in 2003 and the less famous but almost as painful "Game 7" the next day when we lost the pennant. Good times. NOT!

I hate basketball, so Micheal Jordan and the Bulls mean nothing to me. Plus, I don't live in Chicago so you can stick your "no Chicago exceptions" rule where the sun don't shine :rotfl:.

I'm from Cleveland but care 0% about our teams. The 3 I follow most are:

Manchester United: 7 months
Juventus: 6.5 years (Would have been 3.5 if not for Calciopoli)
The Ohio State Buckeyes (football): 7 years

I'm a Cincinnati Bengals fan. Been to the Superbowl twice, but never won. And we have seen some pretty dismal seasons since the last time (1988).
Buffalo Bills - four years in a row to the Super Bowl in the 90's & a loss each time. It's gone downhill ever since. :guilty:

Finally got to see the Brewers in the playoffs for the first time in my lifetime last year. Waiting for them to make it to the World Series (wasn't born when they were in it in '82)...

I'm an Oakland fan too minus Warriors and replaced with Kings. So my years of suffering are just as long.

This is me, exactly...... :) DBF is a Warrior fan but me, I'm all Kings. :)

sorry new york and chicago, don't qualify.

I agree that NY wouldn't qualify, but I don't agree about Chicago. I think Chicago fans could post. :)

Here are my teams, in order of how much of a fan I am:

LSu Tigers (football)--waited my whole life for them to even be OK, and then 2 National Championships in just a few years! I feel so lucky!

New Orleans Saints--see previous posters' comments.

Houston Astros--just can't seem to make it.

I'm a Kansas Chief fan and it has been way to long since we have been to a Superbowl!!

I wish the Rams would go back, It has been a while for them as well

Seriously, you're a Browns fan and you're talking this kind of smack? The economy is horrible right now. I don't blame people for not purchasing tickets right now.

EDIT: DH just informed me that the Browns have been having the same problem.

I guess I can't complain because we had the Cards in 2006 and the Rams in 2000, but damn, it'd be nice if the Blues could win the Stanley Cup. They've been in the league since 1967 for Pete's sake.

I don't want to hear about Boston and Chicago fans who whined that they didn't have a championship in baseball for decades... you had the Bulls and Celtics. Anyone else on the wrong side of 20?

The Chicago White Sox just won in 2005! :thumbsup2

Picture still gives me chills!

You need to check your sources, the Bengals have sold out every one of the home games so far. Some of them last minute, but they have all sold out.

Another one living in the city of champions! My boys are 4 and 8 and think the Penguins and Steelers win every year! :rotfl:

Another Clevelander here. I feel like it will never happen in my lifetime and I am only 24.

Do we even still have teams? :lmao:
