Sports Complex question

Ok, I know the sports complex is not a theme park. My dh for some reason wants to go here. Is there anything to do there or is it a big waste of time to even stop by there?

I'm a big sports fan but I can only think of 2 reasons to go there: to watch a Braves spring training game or to register for the Marathon!

My friend went year before last, and said it was a total waste of time. Unless there's something specific that you want to see, ie: cheerleading competitions, Braves spring training or something, I don't think there's much to do.

On our honeymoon (back in 1997) we went there. At that time there was the NFL Experience, where you could "pretend" you were in the NFL & do some football stuff. While he did that, I sat on a bench next to a fan inside a tent & talked to a very nice elderly lady. We had lunch at the All Star Cafe & then left.

Nothing exciting IMHO.
