Please post your favorite sport sandal for park walking. Please also post a link to them so we can see them.

I'm mostly interested in "sport" sandals. I'm also mostly interested in sport sandals for women.

Thanks for your input!

Ecco Cosmo II sandals are my favorite and extremely comfortable. I wore mine so much I wore the entire rubber off the back of the heel after a year and a half and have to get a new pair. :)

I wore them to Disney three times during that period and never had a problem with rubbing, blisters or heat. They have a cork sole so they are very cushiony to walk on.

I have these in navy. http://www.paragonsports.com/Parago...HOP&e1prm=Reactor+Convertible+Sandal+(Womens)
I know I paid less than 60 but can't remember where I got them. I love them especially since I can take off the back strap and wear them as a slide. I have my favorite old beat up Nike ACG sandals also. I can't seem to part with them lol. http://www.altrec.com/shop/detail/18951/ACG sorta like these but mine are an older model. These look comfortable too http://www.altrec.com/shop/detail/17117/.

Teva Stratum -- Mine are more comfortable than any other athletic shoes I've ever owned!! I love them. Ds has Teva Hurricanes but says they are not as comfortable. Hurricanes don't have all the support. Dh has Teva Pretty Rugged Leather and something that's mid-way between a Hurricane and a Stratum (more support than the one but not as much as the other). He wears his a lot, but I don't think they are nearly as comfortable as mine.

Has anyone tried the teva cork thong sandal? It looks like it would be comfortable but wondered if anyone has tried walking all day with them.

 Hi Neighbor geetey! Did you find those Tevas in St. Louis? If so, what store? (I can't get your link to work.)

These are the Tevas I wear. Pretty Rugged Leather. I am on my 2nd pair in 7 years, and I love them! They work great at the parks because you don't have to worry about them getting wet.

Oops! Did I mess up? I also have the Teva Pretty Rugged Leather sandals and love them, but I sprayed mine with waterproofing. I also have a pair of Teva Mush flip flops and Teva Olowahu flip flops that I sprayed with waterproofing. Should I not have?

I just bought a pair of Teva Spoilers (Rack Room Shoes had them on sale if that store is near you). They have the best arch support of any shoes I have ever owned. I thought I'd have to break them in before my trip, and I have been wearing them for the past three days constantly. They didn't even need the breaking in. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. :cool1:

Another big fan of Tevas. I wear mine all the time and they are priceless for my Disney trips. Our Rack Room Shoes also has a good selection of these and the prices are always great too.

I wear the exact same Ecco sandals! I have them in taupe and I LOVE them. I bought a pair last summer at the start of my holiday and wore them constantly all summer. They are without a doubt the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn.

Well I am trying out my Teva Stratum for the first time this June. I have been wearing them weekends around the house to break them in and they feel great. In fact, my whole family now has Teva's to wear in the parks. We have worn our athletic shoes (Reeboks, Ryka's) in the past but this is our first summer trip and I know shoes and socks will be really hot. We'll see how it works! :teeth:

Hi Lisa!
We recently moved to STL so I didn't purchase them here. I found my Tevas at Just For Feet. I have seen them at Sports Authority (which I believe I have seen here in STL). Maybe they will have some?
Sorry about the link. You can always try teva.com to see the different styles.
Good luck and I hope you find some!

I doubt the waterproofing would hurt anything. It might not (for me) make the sole as comfortable on the Pretty Ruggeds. My feet sweat, unfortunately, so I like that the sole is leather, versus a plastic, so the moisture is absorbs and my feet aren't sliding around.
I wouldn't worry. Your Tevas may last even longer now! :Pinkbounc

I just bought a pair of the Teva Stratum.... I wanted shoes that could get wet!!! And, I agree with the earlier poster who mentioned that they seem to be comfortable, and offer great support! After trying several Teva sandles, this was 'the one'. The Hurricane is thin soled, with little support. It just didn't do it for me. I also tried on a pair of kids Teva Terra-Fi's... They were better than the Hurricane, but the Stratum beat them by far. The Stratum has a really well shaped foot-bed, like what you would find inside a running shoe.

Hello!

Keen sandals are awesome! Actually the whole line is VERY comfortable. They are funky looking, but after a while it really grows on you. Check them out at www.keenfootwear.com. Also, there are lots of reviews at www.zappos.com. Good luck!

I have two pairs of Columbias. One pair is a little more worn than the other, but they are wonderful in the parks.
