:p Any opinions on Spoodles and Ohana would be apreciated.

Can you really see the MK fireworks from Ohana's??

We went to Ohanas on the first night of our honeymoon trip last August. We were staying at the Poly and we only had about 45 minutes to check in and settle into our room before our PS time.

We were seated after only about a ten minute wait and it didn't take too long for them to start bringing over food. First came a tray of appetizers that went on the lazy susan. The appetizers were salad, corriander chicken wings, fried rice and wontons.

After that, they brought over the main course on sticks. They had steak, turkey, shrimp and pork loin. There were three dipping sauces for the meat: fruit, bbq and peanut.

For dessert, they gave us pineapple with caramel dipping sauce. They have other desserts as well, but you have to pay for these. We didn't need any extra desserts and pineapple and caramel sauce is one still one of my favorite desserts.

They have games for kids during dinner like hula-hoop contests.

Our waiter was amazing. He found out it was our honeymoon and offered to take a picture for us in front of the firepit. Also, when I told him that my DH loved the chicken wings even though he normally won't eat chicken unless it's breaded, the waiter told me that they didn't give out recipes. He was only kidding and two minutes later, he came out with a copy of the recipe.

After dinner, we walked right over to the monorail and made our way over to the MK.

I would highly recommend Ohanas!

Yes you can see the fireworks, and also the Water Pageant. There are big panoramic windows running around the restaurant.

I like 'Ohanas - it's a winner in my book.

We have been VERY fortunate. On our last two trips we were able to see the fireworks. The last trip we were dead center. It really makes it a special meal.

We ate at Spoodles during our last trip. We really enjoyed it! They have a great appetizer menu; and dh and I ordered a few a split them for our meal. We agreed it was a great way sample lots of things and have a semi-light supper!;) Also, ds (3.5 at the time) loved their pizza!

I did Ohana in June of 1997. The food was great, but I was there early before the fireworks. You can not miss with this restaurant.

I did Spoodles in July of 2002. Again, the food is great. After you eat, there are a lot of activities out on the Boardwalk.

Or, since you are interested in fireworks....after eating at Spoodles, the entrance to Epcot is only a short 5-minute walk! You can then catch the fireworks there.
