I just made our ADRs for our July trip and tried to get an ADR at Spoodles on any of several different dates....I really wanted to eat there before it closed! The CM said she couldn't even get her computer to bring up Spoodles at all -- she tried several times. She said she thinks they'll be closing before we go on our trip. Darn!

Has anyone heard what their closing date is? Or maybe everyone is trying to eat there before they close and that's why she couldn't even get the computer to bring up Spoodles to even check availability? :confused3

I don't know when they are closing but I did get reservations there for breakfast on June 23rd.

Spoodles is supposed to be closing in Sept. I'll see if I can dig up the exact date and post it later.

The date of September 30 came up but it was a rumored date and not an official announcement.

They are closed from May 11-29 for kitchen renovations but a final closing date hasn't been announced from what I have seen. Employees are unaware of the closing as well.

I don't think they are refurbishing then, because we have an ADR for the 23rd of May.

They were originally going to do it, but then delayed it. Perhaps because they will redo it when it becomes the new Cat Cora restaurant????

Sad news. I've always enjoyed dining there. It's already some sort of a family tradition for us. Sigh :(

i have a breakfast adr there on July 15th.:)

I have a dinner ADR for July 18th.

CSBM,

That is great news because we are arriving on 5/09 and thought that our only day to eat breakfast there would be the morning of 5/10. Perhaps now we won't be so rushed.

We, too, are sad at the permanent closing. We love Spoodles, and it is a tradition to eat there for breakfast every trip.

We too love breakfast at Spoodles and will truly miss it! The sad part is more people are usually in line at the bakery than eating at Spoodles. You go over to the Cape May Café and they're lining up. It's all about profit and I can't blame Disney for making the change. :sad2:
