Spoke with Execs during MM

I spoke with Leigh Ann Nieman, Director of Member Experience at last night’s Moonlight Magic. I wanted to advise her about the difficulty in obtaining Fastpasses for E ticket attractions, especially since the new Neighbour Hotels are able to book them. I explained DVC members commitment of thousands of dollars and decades of our lives to Disney.

She stated she was unaware this was an issue and it would be something she would look in to. I offered the suggestion, which I found in these forums, of DVC members being able to book at 75 days out and she seemed receptive. A person with her, I assume her administrative assistant, was writing down what we were talking about so hopefully some action will be taken. We shall see.

I like that idea. I also think that you could have suggested members get free airline tickets and groceries each trip and she would have “seemed receptive” and her assistant would have written that down too. It’s her job to make you feel like your ideas and concerns are important. It’s hard to tell what they will actually act on.

My bet is they would consider doing it but for a charge. Like the club level, $50 per person per day. With the number of members, if it was free, it would be impossible for non-members to get the popular rides at 60 days.

Fast passes are a Disney product, DVC is nothing to do with them. Nieman was telling the truth, she knows nothing about fast passes.
