Recently I e-mailed the two address listed on a sticky above and gave my thoughts on why we were not going to HHN this year. (Basically repeats or no interest in the shows, lackluster scare zones last year and no afternoon tour.)
We normally even have PAPs, and did not renew them as I planned on renewing for HHN, when we mostly use them with FFP.
Without the afternoon behind the scenes tour, that pretty much decided for me I would pass on HHN this year and see if this year improved from last year.(It's bound to.)
I was very surprised just a few days later I rec'd an e-mail from Guest Serviced at USO asking I provide a number and time to call, or I call them.
I called yesterday and we had a nice chat. It was refreshing in that the person did not try to give excuses to my issues. (Bad scare zones just as an example).
She gave the impression one reason not to have the behind the scenes HHN tour was due to construction of a new rollercoaster in the area of the three haunted houses between the two parks. She was not even sure how they were going to have guests in that area since it is a construction zone.
She agreed with a lot of what I said.
I had also mentioned that I thought $70 pp for an Express Pass was ridiculous. She mentioned they were quite a bit less during the week. That does not work for DH and I since we work M - F.
Then she mentioned the first two weekends were considered off season, so would be a lesser price for HHN Express Pass. (Interesting, but not enticing enough. And that may have been for FL/GA residents. Although I really don't recall.)
She mentioned my comments would be passed onto management, and that they did care.
Overall it did not change my mind. But I certainly appreciated her concern and time. That impressed me.
Thought I would pass on what little I was told.

Thanks for sharing your conversation. I do hope they recduce the price of the EP for opening night. Right now the website is saying $69.99 and I'm NOT paying it! They've never charged that much on opening night before.

Anyway...thanks for sharing!
:thumbsup2
