I think Russell knew that he lost Somoa before the votes were read, he didn't look happy prior to the announcement.

Russell had it right, those people he was out there with sure were a bunch of dummies (misfits), they got that one wrong for sure! At least America got it right with the at home vote.

I hope he wins the next one. I think he is great. Hated him at first, but about 4 shows in, I started to like him, then I found myself snickering with him as I watched the show. The icing on the cake was when he said he would keep the individual immunity idol as a souvenier....that was awesome!

Getting to the final is twice in a row, is not loosing. Especially knowing that he has a huge target on his back. I would be very happy with winning the 3rd place prize if it were me. And proud to say I have beat my way to the top spots once more.

Your point is well taken, but just remember - he does not have a huge target on his back since Survivor 20 was filmed before Survivor: Samoa aired. So, Russell is an unknown.

Even as one of those "Russell Haters" I have to admit it was incredibly stupid of the rest of them not to vote him out when he kept the idol as a souvenir. They had to know he would "probably" win if he made it to the jury .

Why oh why does Parvati keep doing so well in this game? I can't stand her. I really hope that Russell doesn't align with her, although it appears that he does based on the F3. I think aligning with Parvati will affect his popularity for sure. I know I won't like him as much if he's all buddy buddy with her.

I'm fearful that Russ made the same mistake he made with Nat which was underestimating the "stupid girl." Although he must surely know who Parvati is and how dangerous she can be.

Although from a guy's perspective, I definitely won't mind having to see her all season

It's been highly rumored that he pisses off the jury again and that the winner is between Sandra and Parvati. But apparently he told everyone in S20 that he lost to the "blonde" woman anyway, so I think he knew he lost.
