(SPOILERS!) Can't find an "Alias" thread....

......so I'll start one.

Am I the only person who was taken by surprise at them killing off Vaughn in the first episode? Or is he really dead? I hadn't heard that Michael Vartan was leaving the show.

I had heard (maybe I read it in People mag?) that Michael Vartan was most likely going to exit the show because he and Jennifer once had a thing going and now it was uncomfortable for her on the set
