LOL That's what DH and I were saying.

Those parents were so disgusting to watch!! The dad was beyond a jerk, but I cannot say what I really think here.

The mom wasn't much better. I hope they see the show and realize how awful they look.

It's a classic case of stupid, annoying, rude, snobbish, lazy parents raising the next generation of stupid, annoying, rude, snobbish, lazy kids. So sad.

Actually, aside from the hideous inappropriate make-up, I thought the girls were really sweet, cooperative and surprisingly well-adjusted. Their nanny/housekeeper must be a miracle worker who loves them to pieces!

I agree...and the FL dude wasn't even good looking!! He was actually pretty hideous himself. They were all just posers, IMO, because they want it to appear that they are rich, all about the kids ("my kids have everything")and what a great family they were. NOT. They were all just enormously selfish!!!The WI family was a little less motivated but at least they genuinely enjoyed each other. My DH & I had a tear in our eye when the WI dad said how much he loved being with his family and his wife.

Didn't one of the FL parents (wife, maybe) say that it was really WEIRD that the WI dad's best friend was his wife? THAT' NOT WEIRD THAT'S A GREAT MARRIAGE!!

Didn't see the show @ all - but was looking @ the websites - what were the names of the folks - which kid in the Gemz is the kid & which is the mom that's the model or does she just own the company?

I think the youngest kid in Gemz is the kid from the show...Sammi Jack? The mom owned the modeling agency and mentioned that SHE created the band as a showcase for her kid...to make her a 'star'. I didn't see it mentioned in the band's bio, but mom said it on the show.

Yes they were...now. But give em time. They are still very young.

Seriously, we've seen it many times where the kids are just like the parents. They already didn't want to wear any clothes that weren't designer labels, and were very fixated on their looks. I can only imagine if they continue at that rate what they will be like as teen-agers.

And the mom said she thought housework was menial and not something she would ever do. I bet the girls will grow up feeling the same way. And although the nanny/housekeeper is wonderful, I wonder what they'll eventually think of her for having such a menial job.

Hopefully that won't be the case but more often than not it is. JMO

I saw the FL man as the wife's kept man. He works for her dad and does almost nothing. When FIL decides it is time for the divorce (and yes it is coming) he will get nothing. It seemed like the FL wife was going to blast the husband when she heard how he was, but it never happened. And the end where he put the bear head on and the target on his but was meaner then the chickens. Those girls will be horrible in about 3-4 years.

The WI family had 6 kids, but one must be out of the house and the parent of the little boy I saw at the end. The older boys were lazy.

I agree there was something wrong there with the FL family. If you really DO have it made, you don't have a need to BRAG about it. The father was a jerk, what a bum! And what's with being late to school all the time? That family emphasizes beauty and not brains. That's really sad. I'll be surprised if the girls don't wind up with eating disorders later from thinking that being cute, pretty and little is everything.

As for the other family, I am not thrilled with them either. All those males sitting in easy chairs while the women clean the house? uh, NO, THAT would not happen in my house!!

I did like it when the females of the home got their own pretty space.

This is really the first time that the families were not "fixed" by the end of the show...both families were basically the same way they were before, with the exception of the boys helping around the house and the snot-nose jerks adding more stuff to the kids schedule. I can not imagine wanting to show the world that my husband is such a jerk....what was that woman thinking?? How could she face her friends and family after he showed his true colors? I would be mortified!

I almost never watch these shows but I was bored and in need of letting out some frustrations. That did it!
