Splittsville

Would avoid Splittsville in Downtown Disney. While not owned by Disney it is on there property and have that same Disney experience. Well it does not. Very rude service. They had issue scanning Magic bands which is fine (who doesn't), but took 25 mins to come back and take our order. They have GF options listed on their menu and that is why we chose it as well as the bowling for our son. When inquiring about GF dessert the server rudely said " nope just plain vanilla ice cream or something!" Not very Disneyesque! The dessert (vanilla ice cream) arrived and had whip cream and sprinkles on it. He took it back only to come back 5 minutes later and say oh I guess these are GF also. I ordered my dessert as part of the dining plan and was told I only had one option and could not choose from the menu. Since when??? We felt we waisted an entitlement there and were so disgusted we left with out bowling. Steer clear if you love the friendly Disney service you normally receive elsewhere.

We had a fantastic experience at Splistville during out last trip. We weren't on DDP, so I can't speak to your experience with that, but it sounds like you just had a bad server. Our server was friendly, funny and very helpful. Everyone in our party of 9 really enjoyed their meals and the entire experience. Sorry you had a bad experience at Splitsville, but I wouldn't write it off just yet.

We went to Spiltsville last June for Bowling and Lunch. We had great service and had a blast. It was a Friday about 1230p. It was not crowded.

We really enjoyed it.

Sorry you did not have a good experience.
