Splitting the ticket

Will the Disney restaraunts split the ticket for large parties? If so do I need to ask for this to be one at the beginning of the meal or the end? We have a group of seven, but I wanted to pay for my immediate family's meal with our Disney Visa reward card points. TIA

They can split the check just about anyway you want. However make sure you mention at the beginning of the meal how you plan on splitting, it just makes things run much more smoothly. They can still do it if you don't mention until the end but it can take FOREVER to get it all figured out.

If you tell them at the beginning of the meal, your table will get separate bills and there will be no confusion.

Since you mentioned that you will have seven people, this puts you in the range for the automatic 18% gratuity even though each check is for fewer than six people. The 18% will be applied separately to ech check. (If one is $100 and the other $50, there will be $18 added to the first and $9 to the other.)

I would imagine they could split the check even if you're using DDP? That way our group of 11 made of three families can keep track of who owes what for tips?

What if we use the TIW card for our group? I know it can be used for up to 10 people. (And that works well for us because one of our 11 is an infant.) Can they still give us family totals but apply the discount for the whole table? Can we use separate credit cards to pay?

Yes, they can and will split DDP checks as well - again, please let your server know FIRST, i.e. before ordering anything.

Only items on the check of the Tables in Wonderland cardholder can be discounted. If, for example, you're all going to want drinks, be prepared to reimburse this person - or arrange to be reimbursed, if it's you - before anybody orders any non-DDP item.
