Splitting stays?

would you split a stay for a 12 day vacation? Presently staying at the swan for 12 nites in october but if the new ap rates are good where would be a good equal for the vacation? Thanks,

If I were staying 12 days then I would definitely split my stay. I'd also split between two resort areas. So if you're staying at the Swan first, I'd then go to a MK resort or maybe even AKL. You just have a lot of time with a 12 day vacation. You could do 5 nights at Swan and 6 nights at another. I think it's a good way to experience different resorts!

I too would split my stay if I were staying 12 days. I split a 7 day stay between POR and AKL. It was nice experiencing different hotels. Actually, with 12 days I would be splitting my stay at three resorts.

For a 12-night stay, I too, would split the stay...we have split stays of a week and have decided that's a bit more turmoil than we care to deal with anymore...but with 12 days, it's almost like 2 separate vacations....I would recommend the AKL, WL, or POR if you have an opportunity to stay at those resorts.....

You won't be sorry and it'll be a wonderful experience for a stay of length....I'm jealous!! We don't know when we'll get back again...

I would definately split my stay. I think it's alot of
fun. We did it when my 3 children were very small and
we survived. I thinks it's great to see different pools,
hotel rooms, and restaurant. We stayed at CBR in the
past and liked it. This year we will be split 4 nights -POR
and 3 YC. Good Luck in deciding. Disney moves your
luggage for you and that's half the battle.

You must!! With the luxury of staying 12 nights, it will seem like a whole new vacation!! I was considering splitting my measley 6 night stay (can't decide between Poly and WL), so I wouldn't think twice about it if I were you...

Yep! 6 nights at the Yacht Club, followed by 6 nights at the Grand Floridian!

We have split our stays twice and it was so great!

If you were only staying 5 or 6 days, then I would tell you not to, but at 12 days you will have plenty of time to settle in at each resort!

Just make sure that the hotels are equivalent , or if there is one you just know you'll prefer that you save it for last. You don't want to get to the next resort and wish you were at the first one.

We split a 9 night stay between 4 resorts. 3 nights WL, 2 nights AKL. Then after visiting my brother for a week, back to WDW where we stayed at Dolphin for 2 nights then over to Contemporary for 2 nights. We had a great time. A new adventure in every resort. AKL was the best. We didn't want to leave. Dolphin was great due to the view we had and convience to Epcot, Boardwalk, MGM. WL was nice for peacefulness and convience to FW and MK. Contemporary was our least favorite, but the convience to the monorail and MK can not be beat. Also, if you like to play in the arcade, Contemporary is the best by far. Either way we love to go to WDW. Next year we will be staying 8 to 10 days at BCV(unless AKL has a deal that I just can't refuse
