Splitting skillet at Whispering Canyon

I'm wondering if we can fit a dinner at Whispering Canyon into our dining plans but I don't want to use up table service meals on food we won't be able to finish. How many people would the All-You-Can-Eat Skillet feed? Does each person use a table service credit and it all comes on one platter, or can one or two people order enough to share with two other people? Basically, just how big is a "single" order of this skillet?? (It looks great in the pictures!)

I don't think that you can share a skillet, since it is all you can eat. It's priced like a buffet--per person, rather than per plate. If you eat a lot--good for them; if you eat a little better for them. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to ask, but I would be surprised. Good luck!

Exactly. It's just like the concept of a buffet. You can't split something that's all you can eat because then everyone would just order one. It sounds like good food though. Give it a try.

The skillet is priced at $13.99 per person for lunch and $21.99 for dinner. It's definitely compares to a buffet meal.

If everyone at your table orders the skillet, they'll bring one ( for a small group, 2 for a larger group ) for everyone to share. When you run out of a certain item, they're happy to bring more, or even another whole skillet for hearty eaters.

As stated before, it's more like a buffet and it makes sense that everyone sharing should be charged. Otherwise, you could end up with a family of 4 ordering 4 glasses of water and one skillet and only being charged for one meal.

Id like the option of taking the remains of the first skillet as a doggie bag if we dont order anything more of anything.
I mean if we pay for a skillet shouldnt we get to have at least 1 skillet worth?

Sounds reasonable to me.

I ordered the all you can eat skillet and dh ordered a different meal. They brought out a single person skillet. My dd5 ordered the kid's meal and my dd2 shared the skillet with me (since she is under 3 yrs old it was allowed). I didn't get any refills on our skillet and dd5 tried a few bites of each item.

They will not let you split the skillet dinner but I don't think the staff will object to someone in your party have a taste.
We were there several weeks ago with a party of 9 (6 adults, 3 kids - 4, 3, 1). 4 of us ordered the skillet dinner and my parents ordered something else. When they broght the salad out, my parents had some as well because it was alot of food. ::yes:: My wife fed my DD1 some mash potato and corn and nobody objected :p
