We have been to WDW a few times, but have always stayed at the same resort. This time we have decided to split our stay with 3 nights at the WLVillas, and 3 nights at the Poly. My question is how do you switch? I'm sure you check out of one, and then go to the next and check in? what do you do with your luggage? We are flying, so we do not have a car to transfer our things. Also, when can you check into the next resort, do you have to wait till afternoon or can you check in early? What about the park tickets? They are different than the last time we were there and I've heard your room key is your park ticket, if your at one resort and check out, does it void your park ticket? We have booked a package for the WLV with park tickets and just room only at the poly. I'm just a little confused about what to do. I've been reading other threads but I cant seem to get the information I need. HELP!!

its very easy disney will move the luggage for you and the tickets are good all week any other questions feel free i do this alot

How reliable is the service though? Disney will take your luggage and move it to your next resort..... However, what if the room is not ready for check in yet? You get to the resort, and no room... What happens to your luggage then?? Have they been known to lose things? I have heard some horror stories from people who split resort stays and have had things go missing.

I've split stays several times with no problems. The room not being ready is a possiblity, it's treated as a new reservation. They will hold your luggage if your room is not ready.

As far as tickets...I've had CM tell me at the first resort that the tickets cannot be put on the room key for split stays and then others haven't. If they tell you the tickets are an issue, keep persisting (nicely of course), it can be done.

All your belongings are tagged and transported. I've not had an issue with lost items. They will even refridgerate items that need to be kept cold.

I also have done split stays with no problems.
