Splitsville vs Rix Sports Bar for Super Bowl 2025?

Trying to plan an ADR to watch the Super Bowl.

My first choice was to book Rix Sports Bar at 6:00 pm. My reservations opened up today and it looks like Rix stops taking reservations that day around 1:30 pm (or all reservations after that time are gone already).

Do you think we should:

(1) Take the bus from Animal Kingdom (where we will be that park day) to Coronado and try to walk up to Rix Sports Bar? Back up could be Three Bridges Bar?

(2) Go to Splitsville at Disney Springs? I was able to get a reservation here for 6:00 pm.

Do the dining tables at Splitsville have a good view of the TV's playing the games? I've never been here so not sure what the set up is.

Upstairs Splitsville has quite a few televisions. IIRC, there is a massive projection television upstairs too. The bar area is very nice, and I suspect you could request a view of the game if you get there early enough. The nachos are outstanding there too.

definitely Splitsville or City Works has a ton of TV's and I like it there better.

I’ve been at Splitsville for the superbowl the past two years. We sat in the bar area (at a booth) where there are many tvs but not sure about views from other parts of the restaurant. Hopefully others can chime in.

This year we paid for a reserved table at CityWorks. Kinda hate paying but it will be nice to have a reserved table with a pretty much guaranteed good view. You can reserve this through their website - I don’t think it can be done through Disney.

Thanks for your input everyone! Sounds like Splitsville with a reservation is the better choice.

I took a look at their website. Nothing for Super Bowl posted yet but I assume it will appear closer to the date. Do you remember how much it was to reserve a table?

It’s up now-

Price starts at $35 for two bar seats. $50 for a two person table. Goes up depending on party size.
