Split Stays - what happens to our bags?

DW, DD4, DD4, DM and I will be starting our August trip at AKVKV and then moving to BLT. Can anyone give me some insight on how Disney moves your bags for split stays like this?

In my limited experience....I called bell services the night before just to give them the heads up and they told me call back first thing in the morning like at 7 am I think. We had everything packed and ready to go when they arrived at around 10 am. Our luggage arrived at our next resort without any problems other than it didn't get there until around 6:30 pm. We were using "moving day" as a day off from the parks so we packed our swimsuits in a backpack went over to the new resort to check-in and use the pool while we waited for our room to be ready. No problems whatsoever.

Similar experience here. We had our bags picked up at OKW at 7:30 am. We checked into the BC at 1:00. We were told that the bags would be moved over to BC sometime between 1-4. To our happy surprise the room was ready and the bags were already there. The person behind the desk was really surprise.

We've done this a few times. We've had bell services move our bags without any problems.

I've also brought our own things with me in a taxi to the new resort.

Either way is easy.

They move the bags for you, but it's a hassle and you may be "homeless" all day. That can be rough with two 4 year olds and possibly DM if she's elderly.
