Split Stay?

Hi, we want to go to Disney World in August 2016, and I was looking into to the Wilderness Lodge for 5 nights but I've been reading that the Wilderness Lodge is going to start have some heavy construction and might at bungalows. So, I thought a better alternative might be All Star Music for 2 Nights and then 3 Nights at the Contemporary (Tower Bay Lake View) so we can have a monorail resort and take it to Epcot & Magic Kingdom. Also, is the bus transportation bad at contemporary? Thank You.
