Hello everyone,
I posted something about this a couple of weeks back but forgot to ask one question. We are bringing our friends along on our October trip to AKV but we only had enough points for them to stay Sunday to Friday (10/4-10/9). At first they wanted to go back home on Friday but then I think they've been hearing advice from everyone that 5 days is definitely not enough at Disney so they decided to stay another 2 days, leaving Sunday the 11th. Their last 2 days (10/9-10/11), they will transfer over to POP via a cash ressie.
I know that when they check out on Friday from AKV, they call Bell Services to get their luggage and have it sent to POP. They then check out of AKV and go over to POP and check in there and later on in the day, they contact Bell Services at POP to get their luggage.
My question is about ME though. Will I, as the DVC member who can contact MS, be able to link the AKV points reservation to my friends' POP cash reservation so that their departure flight information is recorded? It should not be hard to put in the arrival flight information, but I am stumped about the departure, because they will not be picked up from AKV to go back to the airport, but from POP. How do we go about it? When we did a split stay before, it was solely DVC and solely points reservations. Haven't done it at all mixing points stay and a cash stay.
