Hi

i've read mix reports, so here's the question

we're staying at POP for 2 days, room only.
Then we move to OKW on the DDP.

We'll do online check in anyway, but since we have Magic Bands and have completed OLCI, can we use our DDP entitlements to have brekkie at POP on our OKW check in day, without going to OKW first.
TBH the Goods To Go breakfast menu is rather poor, and it sure would be nice to have breakfast at POP or AoA before leaving for OKW. (re: time and choice)

Some say that with UK packages you have to actually check in at the hotel to activate tickets and dining, some say you don't, but I don't recall having read actual reports on that matter.

Does anyone have first hand experience with such a situation ?
thanks

No direct experience. I would phone OKW front desk directly and ask. You tend to get a better response than the general switch board. 407 827 7700.

As you have a split stay you will need to physically check out of POP and check in to OKW to activate the DDP. Tickets should be fine without checking in but the dining will need to be activated.

Also the number given above still goes to a call centre they just act like they are the front desk of the resort. Even if you call the front desk from your room you still go to a call centre.

EDIT: Avoid the breakfast at Goods it was the worst thing I have eaten - drive next door to SSR or go down the road to POR much better choices!

Thank you all

yes, we've already planned to use POR as our food court during our stay at OKW :p (we would have stayed at POR if it weren't for the 35% off okw + free ddp, it's our favorite onsite resort)

for that first morning, depending on how early we get to OKW we might go down to DTD to have breakfast at Wolfgang Puck Express after check in (good value for credit), or simply make our own breakfast from the groceries we will have bought.
It would have been more convinient to eat at POP, but if we can't use a CS credit, then so be it.
