Split stay tickets, dining and FP Q's

We are staying at AKL next year for 2 nights renting dvc points which is all booked. We were going to stay in pt Canaveral for the next 3 before our Disney cruise but are considering staying at AKL for the extra 3 instead. We would be staying in the exact same room category but most likely different dvc owners.
We were thinking of getting the dining plan for the entire 5 nights but we only wanted to get a 2 day wdw tickets. Will that muck things up being that we would have 2 reservations?
This is what we were planning
Tues - arrive enjoy resort character meal for dinner
wed - NASA
Thurs - AK (this would be our change over reservation day hopefully we wont have to move rooms if the same category?)
Fri - resort day character meal dinner
Sat Epcot or HS
Sun- character breakfast before heading to the port.
Can I get the dining plan for both portions of the trip or just the second part where we would be using the park tickets?
If we get the 2 day park tickets and link them to the first reservation will it only let me book things for the Thursday at AK and not the epcot/hs day? Or can the tickets be linked to both reservations?

Since you're renting reservations from dvc owners the dining plan has nothing to do with tickets at all.

And since none of it is a package the tickets should let you make the FP arrangements for whatever you need.
