We are staying one night at POR (no park or dining....just staying there the night we drive it) then moving to BLT.

My question is pertaining to luggage. Which is easier/safer?

1. leave our luggage overnight in our car while at POR and then drive it over to BLT in the am (we plan to check in around 7am) and if our room isn't ready then leave it in the car till we get back for our break that night.

2. take out luggage with us into POR - then let Disney move our luggage to our new room

3. drive luggage to BLT and leave it with baggage till our room is ready (will they bring it up to our room?

This is our first split stay on property - we usually sty off site the first night, but decided to try out POR for the night since that is where we plan to stay next year for our full vacation.

Take the luggage into your room so there's no risk of theft from the car.

Bring it back to your car in the morning, drive to the next resort to check in early as you plan, leave it with bell services there.

They will not bring it to your room unless you are there. That is only done when using the baggage part of magical express.

When you know the room is ready and you are back at the resort, call or stop by BS and arrange for them to bring it up to you!

If you have BS transport it there's NO chance of seeing it until after official checkin time. If you being it to the next BS you know it's there. So if you have forgotten to get something from a bag you know where that bag is.

I personally go with option 3. That way once your room is ready you can just call luggage services and they can bring them up for you.

I think option 3 is your best bet. Since you have a car, just take it with you to BLT and let bell services keep it until your room is ready. I definitely agree that you should not leave it in the car. Too much risk.

This is my suggestion as well :thumbsup2.
