Split stay, off-site then onsite. How will EMH and MB work?

We are staying at Hilton Bonnet Creek for 5 nights and then moving to AKL for two nights. We already have attached our tickets (Undercover Tourist) to our account and have magic bands from our last trip (will we be sent new ones?).

My question is, if we are checking in on the 13th to AKL will our magic bands allow us EMH entry on the 13th even before check-in?

Also, I know when you are onsite you get to choose your rides 60 days in advance when you are staying onsite, vs. 30 days in advance for offsite. How will this work with our onsite days being the last two days of our stay?

Thank you!

Yes, if you use ON-LINE CHECK-IN and specify that you will be there by the beginning time of EMH.

When your 60-day window opens for your onsite stay, you'll be able to book FPs for park visits during your offsite portion. You'll have a fully open 60-day + onsite days window.

Hey, there! I am new at this but have a similar question. I am staying off-site from December 18-25, but going to book on-site from December 25-27. I have not purchased the tickets yet. Do I add extra days to my park tickets with the Disney room booking (we want 6-7 days total on the tickets). Will we be allowed to use our park tickets starting the 19th if we want or do we have to wait until the 25th? Also, when would we get to book our Fast Passes? What about using Early hours? Thanks.

1. Yes. Buy the correct number of days worth of tickets when you book the Disney room.
2. Yes. Go to any Guest Relations with your WDW Resort info and an ID and you can activate you tickets up to 10 days before WDW resort check-in.
3. No.
5. First EMH eligibility on Dec. 25... through check-out day.

4. This kind of information is explained in the FP+ thread found HERE. Read post #1 and #2 for FP+ usage, recommendations, and timing advice.

Your question is exactly like the OP's. Purchase your tickets separately and you'll be able to book all FPs 60 days before your onsite stay.
