Split Stay Help

I just changed my reservations in October to a split stay. We'll be at WL the first 3 nights and then Pop the last 3 nights. How does this all work? I have one reservation number. Will I still have to check in at Pop or will it all be done at WL? Will my room key work for both resorts? Will I have to check-out at WL or will I just have 1 bill at the end of my stay? I know that my bags can be moved for me from resort to resort, but since I'll have a car that I'll have to move anyway, I plan on doing that part myself. Sorry for all the questions. I'm an obsessive planner so I want to make sure I know all the ins and outs of a split stay. TIA!

Since you are staying at two different resort doing split, you should have two seperate reservations. You will need to check in at both resorts. Each place you check in, they will give you your room key for each resorts. They both have express check outs so you don't have to go to front desk. Hope this helps.

Whenever I do a split stay, I always stay at the lesser resort first - if you stay at a deluxe resort with all it's splendor, then move to a value resort for the end of the trip, I think you'll find it a big "let down". Might consider switching your order and stay at Pop for the first 3 days and WL to top off your trip.

Im doing a split stay in October as well and do have two reservation numbers.

I also wanted to echo staying at the value first and then moving to the deluxe.

I'm staying at WL first since the first few days of the trip won't be spent at the parks aside from MNSSHP. I plan on just enjoying the resort then. When we switch to Pop, we'll be at the parks all day and really only using the resort as a place to sleep at night. Should I be concerned that I only have one reservation number? I guess I'll find out for sure when I get my confirmation letters in the mail.

We're doing a split stay and the CM gave me one central reservation # to use although each reservation has it's own reservation # (if that makes any sense!!). When I called with some requests after making the original reservation I gave the reservation # the first CM said to use and the second CM said she could see both reservations so I think you're fine although you'll probably see two separate reservation #'s on your confirmations that you receive in the mail (we did).
