Split stay extra double the mugs ????

We are doing a split stay and on our first 5 nights we are using the regular dining plan and the the next 7 nights the quick service dining plan and I have a few mug questions. Since with both plans we get mugs and from what I read they are for the length of your stay at the resort they were bought from but do we really have to switch out when we move? I was thinking of just taking the new ones and packing them but not sure if the mugs are now resort specific? I am not interested in breaking any rules just seems senseless in dirtying the the 4 new mugs when we still have the others.

they aren't resort specific. In fact they are the same mugs we got last year on our May trip which was sorta disappointing. I at least was hoping to get different colored tops!

There is a sticky with the pics and colors; I wpuld get different colors.
