Whenever we've had a split stay, my DH was using the
ECV. We never had Disney or the
ECV rental company (when we used one) transfer it for us. Even if he could go without it for distances within the resort, I don't think we'd want our activities for the day to be tied to its availability. If you are renting from an off-site location, then you need the ECV. I'd advocate for keeping it with you and using it while the resort transfer is taking place. Come to think of it, if the ECV isn't yours and is a rental, will they accept responsibility for moving it from resort to resort?
