Split Stay during COVID - Logistics?

I'm considering doing our first split stay - I know historically that Bell Services would handle the transfer of luggage from one resort to the next - has anyone done a split stay recently and is this still happening?
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Bell Services was limited to what they can do with luggage?
We aren't driving so if it can't be transferred then I'm not doing a split stay.

I wanted to see if anyone else has tested this out?

We have a split stay and it operated as normal. We just had to call when in our room to receive our luggage.

Did you call luggage service to pick up your luggage before leaving your room to send to the next resort?

We did a split stay with 3 resorts. VGF to BWV to AKV. 5/4/5. We brought our bags to bell services, partly due to getting out of room close to 11. We did see bell services in the elevators at BWV with empty carts, so it sounds like they'll get them for you. They said the bags would be at the next hotel between 1-2pm. When we arrived at each hotel after a day in the parks, we stopped at bell services with our claim receipt and they sent the bags up shortly after.

I have never used Bell Services to pick up our luggage for transfer during split stays. I think we are always to close to check out time to do that. I'm curious, how long does it usually take for them to get to your room to pick up your bags? I also understand that times might be different now. We have a 1 night planned in mid September at Pop Century followed by 2 nights at BWV and we will probably only have a small bag each. Rather than have Bell Services handle our bags for this trip we will probably Uber to BWV early on that transfer day with our small bags.

You cannot bring, say, a rolling small bag on the Skyliner, right? I really think Uber is the way to go for the transfer because we will want to get to DHS early on that day.

When we stayed at the Dolphin previously bell services for both venues were willing to transport luggage but I wasn't sure with the current situation.

I didn't realize they did it in the past. My friend wasn't able to get her luggage transferred between BLT and the Dolphin in December.

It could be that it was to one of the surrounding Disney views - BW, BC, YC - I really can't remember.
