Split stay Dolphin/Yacht club: Luggage on Friendship Boats?

Can you bring luggage on a friendship boat? We had to add a day at the beginning of our trip due to a flight change, but it will be at the Dolphin and we are staying the rest of the trip at the Yacht Club. We have 2 adults with 2 young kids, so I'm thinking that walking with all of our luggage from the Dolphin to the Yacht Club is not feasible. Do you think the friendship boats or an Uber are the better option?

Take an Uber. Luggage is not permitted on Disney transportation. Aside from that, you're talking about loading luggage on/off a boat while wrangling small kids, and the boat dock at YC/BC is still a considerable walk to the YC lobby.

An Uber will take you right to the hotel entrance where bell services will be right there to assist you with your bags. So much easier!

I think Swan/ Dolphin will still transfer your luggage. But no, you can’t take luggage in the boat. YC is less than a 5 minute walk from Dolphin.

Swan/Dolphin will transfer your luggage - just drop it off at Bell Services as you leave for the parks. It won't get to YC until around 4 in the afternoon, so if there's anything you'll need during the day (medication, swimming gear), keep it with you.

Or, ask Yacht Club Bell Services. They may have access to a golf cart to pick you up at the Dolphin and drive you over to the Yacht Club. Not a guarantee, but worth checking.

We caught a taxi/town car from Dolphin to Saratoga Springs. As you walk out of the front of the Dolphin the BS will signal to the car service. They pull up, load up and off you go. It was $24 w/ tip.

Price is about $10 + tip if you use Lyft. We do it just so we know that our luggage is available if needed. Otherwise you do have to wait until at least 4pm.

The correct answer is already posted a couple of times. Just use bell service and luggage transfer.

But YC and S/D are right beside each other. It may be a 10 minute walk from back door to back door, it may actually be at the same distance as walking to/from the Friendship Boat docks.
